Hello again! About a month ago I purchased an '86 Savage from my neighbor. The bike had been garaged for two years, and I had to have the carburetor rebuilt because it was left with gas in it. The good news is that with the rebuild, the bike fired up and idled right away, and seems to be running really well. This is my first bike, and I am having a blast learning on it. My question has to do with the header/exhaust pipe color. When I started riding the bike (I've probably put 200 or so miles on it) the header and pipe were shiny chrome, but now it is turning a yellow/goldish color (about 3/4 of the length of the exhaust). I've seen postings here about blueing, but have not seen anyone talk about yellowing. I'm wondering if this means anything in particular (rich or lean?). Once again, the bike starts and runs fine. Thanks! Rick
